Urban Streetscapes greeting cards - beautifully printed and designed to make an impression.
The distinctive view of Whitby’s harbour and abbey makes this a memorable and versatile greeting card design. Suitable for a wide range of occasions, it offers a strong sense of place and coastal character. A thoughtful choice for those who appreciate historic seaside towns.
Whitby is a historic coastal town in North Yorkshire, known for its working harbour, red-roofed houses, and the ruins of Whitby Abbey on the East Cliff above. The town has long been shaped by fishing, trade, and maritime life, with its harbour providing shelter along this stretch of coastline. The abbey, overlooking the town, adds a strong sense of history, linking the present-day port with its early medieval origins.
In this image, the scene is viewed from an elevated position, with the harbour and tightly packed buildings filling the foreground. The warm tones of the rooftops contrast with the water below, while the East Cliff rises beyond, crowned by the abbey ruins. The layered composition creates depth, with the eye moving naturally from the harbour up toward the skyline under a muted, overcast sky.
These greeting cards feature your chosen photographic design reproduced with clear detail and vibrant colour. Printed on high-quality card stock and carefully finished, they offer a simple and thoughtful way to share your chosen image with friends, family, or colleagues.
