Just outside the village of Salen on the Isle of Mull, three weathered boats lie side by side on the shoreline, their timbers slowly giving in to time and tide. Locally known as The Three Ladies, these abandoned fishing boats have become an unlikely icon - photographed, painted, and quietly admired by those who pass through. No one seems to know exactly when they were hauled ashore for the last time, but their soft decay speaks of long years exposed to the elements. With their peeling paint, twisted frames, and moss-covered planks, they tell a quiet story of lives once spent at sea. Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
