Cambrian rocks along Whitesands Bay in Pembrokeshire, Wales, reveal layers of ancient geology shaped over millions of years. Continuous wave action has carved into the stone, creating smooth contours, channels, and natural hollows where water collects. The mineral composition gives the rock its distinctive blue-green tones, with fine lines and textures tracing the movement of erosion.
A deep, sculpted hollow draws the eye inward, surrounded by flowing bands of colour and curved rock formations. Water settles in the lower section, reflecting the tones above, while lighter streaks and small deposits highlight the surface detail. Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.
Blue Rock rock textures foam backed prints are printed to order and usually shipped within 3-4 business days. Please allow a further 2-3 days from the despatch date to receive your item (not including weekends or bank holidays).
