Uig Tower, also known as Captain Fraser’s Folly, is a 19th-century structure built around 1860 near the village of Uig on the Isle of Skye. Like many follies of the period, it was constructed more for appearance than function, adding a distinctive architectural feature to the landscape. Positioned on elevated ground, it overlooks the surrounding coastline and open water beyond.
The tower stands on a grassy hillside, with a small building nearby and trees framing the right-hand side of the scene. Beyond it, the sea stretches toward distant hills under a muted, cloud-filled sky. The composition balances the solid structure with the openness of the landscape, emphasising both position and setting.

Each print is mounted onto black, 3mm Foamex - an ultra-durable, moisture-resistant PVC substrate that remains lightweight yet rigid. Perfect for displaying on an easel or mounting with the included Velcro strips, without the need for framing.

Optional lamination is available in satin or gloss to match your selected paper, providing extra protection against moisture and handling. However, lamination is not recommended for Fine Art Matt paper, as it will obscure its authentic texture.

I'm absolutely made up with the print I received from Real World Art. I went for the Koi Carp image - It's very evocative and they've totally captured the serenity you feel watching Koi.
