The Siberian lynx (Lynx lynx) is one of the largest lynx species, found across vast areas of northern and eastern Europe and Asia. They live in the Russian Far East, in the Stanovoy Range and east of the Yenisei River and can live for up to 15 years. Adapted to cold, forested environments, it is recognised by its thick fur, long legs, and distinctive ear tufts. A solitary and elusive predator, the lynx primarily hunts deer and smaller mammals, relying on stealth and patience within dense woodland habitats.
