ABOUT THE IMAGE
A sculpture by Steve Carvill of a young woman knitting a gansey - a traditional jumper worn by fishermen - located on the North Pier, Bridlington Harbour, North Yorkshire to honour local fishing families, many of which have contributed by placing moulded fish which bear their family names on to the sculpture's plinth.
